The project brief was to re-plan and design a new kitchen for a 1950s bungalow.
Our aim was to install all new units, but to maintain the feel of the 1950s without succumbing to the trap of ending up with a 'pastiche' of the 50s.
We selected high gloss units, using sophisticated duo tones of grey, with a dash of colour in the high gloss, red splash back.
Staying with a utilitarian theme we specified LG Hi-Macs solid surface for the main worktop, with a mix of hard wood worktop for the island unit, and tied this in with bespoke shelving.
Karndean loose-lay weathered elm effect vinyl flooring completed the look.
We avoided too much of a 'fitted' look, whilst still including all the modern conveniences.
